Bruce Wickstrom founded Urbnbuild after spending 40 years as a carpenter, developer, and contractor. Michael Donohue joined Urbnbuild a year later as a project manager. Since it's inception, Urbnbuild has built a variety of projects, ranging from traditional to modern, from simple renovations to ground-up construction.  

  While we have an office, both partners work from their jobsites. We love to build and be close to the work. We believe that this improves job performance, reduces management and keeps project schedules moving efficiently. We have a company composed of long term employees and subcontractors. We know the employees of our subcontractors as they have been part of our team for years. This energy provides the best product for our clients and is apparent in our day-to-day practice.

    Bruce and Mike both live in San Francisco, have experience with all of its nuances, and know how to get things built in the city.
